Death Grips continue to call, text, go on world tours, despite break-up
Popdin and Death Grips have had a difficult but lengthy relationship which finally came to an end last summer. What began as an exciting if occasionally terrifying affair, soon turned to bitter acrimony as Death Grips began sharing pictures of its huge genitalia around the internet, arguing with its bosses at work, swearing in front of Popdin's mum and generally acting in an unpredictable, sweaty manner. It was never going to last.

Here are the best tracks released in the last two months in accordance with Popdin's not so humble opinion. From the joyous pop-hedonism of Sky Ferriera and Francois and the Atlas Mountains to the broken toothed fury of Eagulls and Perfect Pussy, there's a little something for everyone apart from your mum.

Best albums of March 2014
March had the right idea. In fact, as far as new album releases are concerned, March had it nailed. There's everything from returning favourites, to ear-blistering newbies, from immaculately crafted pop to genre-bending hip-hop.

In fact there were loads more brilliant albums released in March that we haven't even written about in these internet pages yet - Francois and the Atlas Mountains, Polar Bear, Black Lips, Mø - albums we'll probably end up covering in a panicky 'albums we forgot to write about' round-up sometime in November.

For now let's just ignore them. Pretend they're not there. QUIET DOWN FRANCOIS! BACK IN YOUR CAGE!! Here are the best new albums released in March:

Future Islands - Singles
The greatest crime that could happen to Future Islands is that the David Letterman created three-second gif of frontman Samuel T Herring's extraordinary moves will be the height of their popularity.

They are quite extraordinary moves though.

Here are the brand new album releases out today. You gotta catch em all!

Is that a thing? It could be a thing. If so, Future Islands are very much the Torterra of the collection. Liars are certainly Miaowth. Shakira can be Arcanine and Foster the People are Garbodor because they're shit.

Whether you've just discovered them thanks to the beautifully ludicrous performance on David Letterman last week, or whether you've known and loved them for years, today you're in for an early treat.

Thank goodness for that. I was in danger of spending yet another evening socialising with my friends, seeing my family or, God forbid, reading a book.

Here's a brief round-up of some brand new albums announced today.

Although if you haven't already guessed who they're by, you're paying a baffingly small amount of attention.
