Completism. It’s an evil concept that makes prisoners of us all. I don’t need to review the new Foo Fighters album. I don’t particularly want to review the new Royksopp album. And you know what, this new Hookworms album is really hard to review too. However for the sake of completism I’ve perservering anyway just so I can provide you with my stupid irreverent thoughts on each and every one of them, even though they’ve been out a week and you’ve probably heard them all by now anyeay. Wow, that is some hot salesmanship right there.

First visit here. I dig the site and I enjoyed the round-up. I enjoyed the Röyksopp a bit more than you, but generally I'm with ya.

My personal favorites from the week's releases are:
William Ryan Fritch's new "Empty" EP is breathtaking,
Hail Mary Mallon's "Bestiary" is as crunchy a hip-hop album as you will find right now.
Son Little's debut "Things I Forgot" is old school blues and soul at its freshest.
And Mitski's "Bury Me At Makeout Creek" she's her making a really interesting evolution of her sound to more guitar rock and fuzz. More punky. Me gusta.
